J. Britt Smith, CPA

Graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 1981.
Gained experience auditing small to medium sized publicly traded corporations with a national accounting firm in Houston, Texas.
Accepted a position with a regional firm in North Mississippi, where he audited privately held businesses and manufacturing companies.
Co-founded Eaton, Babb & Smith, P.A. with partners Richard Eaton and Sue Ellen Babb in 1987.
Manages the firm's New Albany, MS office.
Past president and board member of the Union County Development Association.
Active member and former president of the New Albany Kiwanis Club.

1998 New Albany Kiwanian of the Year.
Current treasurer and former board member of the Dean Provence Endowment for Excellence in Education.
Active member and former president of the Union County Ole Miss Alumni Club.
Present board member and treasurer of UNITE.
